Curated by Susan Dackerman, Impressions of Los Angeles: 60 Years of Printmaking at Gemini G.E.L., is divided into two major themes: the atmosphere of Los Angeles and the streets of Los Angeles. Several of the works on view have not been shown in decades, nor have they been curated in this grouping before, offering a new perspective on Gemini’s printmaking history.

For Frieze Los Angeles 2026, Gemini G.E.L. will present a selection of limited-edition prints and editioned sculpture that reflect the workshop's six decades of collaboration and experimentation with internationally acclaimed artists.

The presentation will include works by Sophie Calle, Tacita Dean, Frank Gehry, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Julie Mehretu, and Ed Ruscha.
